Pricing
Published, because hiding it wastes both our time.
Most studios make you book a call to find out whether you can afford them. Here are the numbers. If they do not fit your budget you have saved an afternoon, and we would rather you knew now.
The brochure done right, when that genuinely is all you need.
- Four to six pages, written with you
- Prerendered for search engines
- Mobile first, tested on real phones
- Contact forms that reach you
- Google Business and local search setup
The site, plus the half that does the work. This is the one we are built for.
- Everything in Site
- Booking, ordering, or customer accounts
- Stripe payments with verified webhooks
- Admin area so you can run it yourself
- Transactional email, set up and tested
- Your data exportable, always
Hosting, updates, backups, and a person who answers.
- Hosting and domain managed
- Security and dependency updates
- Daily backups, restore tested
- One hour of changes each month
- Priority on anything broken
Fixed price, agreed before anything starts. Half up front, half at launch. Every project includes two rounds of revisions on the agreed scope - more than that is quoted separately, which is the honest version of how this works rather than a surprise on the invoice.
All amounts in Canadian dollars. Domain and hosting are billed to you at cost, in your name - typically $20 to $40 a year for a domain and nothing for hosting at the traffic a small business site sees.
Why the range
What actually moves the number
Two booking systems can differ by a factor of three, and it is worth knowing which side of that your project sits on before we meet.
Makes it cheaper
- One service, one calendar, one person taking bookings
- You have your text and photos ready
- One decision-maker who can approve things
- Payments through Stripe rather than an existing system
- No migration of old data
Makes it more
- Multiple staff, locations, or complex availability rules
- Connecting to software you already run
- Importing years of customer records
- Accounts, permissions, and multiple user types
- Content and photography we have to produce
How payment works
Half, then half
Deposit due when the scope is signed, balance on launch. Interac e-transfer or card. If we do not deliver what the scope describes, the deposit comes back - that is what a written scope is for.
Fair questions
Including the awkward ones
Why not just use Squarespace or Wix?
For a brochure site, do. They are good and they are cheap. The moment you need real booking rules, deposits, customer logins, or a connection to software you already run, you hit the edge of what a builder can do and start paying monthly for add-ons that half-fit. That edge is where we start.
Can AI not do this now?
AI builders have genuinely taken over the bottom of this market and we are not trying to compete there. What they do not produce is a payment webhook that verifies its signature, a permissions model that holds up, or a system that still makes sense when your business changes next year. We use AI tooling daily - it is a fast assistant and a poor engineer.
How much does it actually cost?
Sites start at $1,500 and applications at $3,500, both fixed after a written scope. Wide range because a booking system for one person and one for six staff are different builds. The scoping conversation is free and you get the number before you commit.
How long does it take?
Two to three weeks for a site, four to eight for an application. The variable is almost never the code - it is how fast content, photos, and decisions come back from your side. We tell you at scoping what we need from you and when.
What if I already have a website?
Common, and often the cheapest option is to keep it and build the functional piece alongside it. We will look at what you have before recommending a rebuild, because a rebuild is the expensive answer and it is not always the right one.
What happens if you disappear?
A fair question to ask anyone small, and the reason everything is in your name. Your code sits in a repository you own, on hosting you control, using Stripe and Supabase accounts registered to you. Any competent developer can pick it up. We document it so that they can.

The scoping conversation is free and ends with a written price. No pressure to proceed, and the scope document is yours either way.
